CARLOS L. DES JARDIN'S MARTIAL ARTS (CDMA) has been the Jersey Shore area's choice for quality martial arts since 1998 providing superior instruction second to none.  The best way for you to understand what our martial arts can do for you and your children is to actually experience one of our classes first hand. 

CARLOS L. DES JARDIN'S MARTIAL ARTS SYSTEM

The method of self-defense taught at CDMA incorporates several different styles of martial arts.  Over the years Master Instructor, Carlos L. Des Jardin has had the opportunity to work with world-class instructors in other arts.  The end product is a Martial Arts system that teaches the students how to defend themselves using kicking techniques found in Tae Kwon Do (Korean Karate), using the hand techniques found in boxing and a combination of the two from Muay Thai - along with elbows and knees, the grappling (wrestling) derived from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, then we have Eskrima/Kali and many other weapons for members later in their training.

This gives our students several options when defending themselves and also prepares them to deal successfully with any personal attack.

Martial Arts students live by the Student Creed:

• I will develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that could reduce my mental growth or physical health.
• I will develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others.
• I will use what I learn in class constructively and defensively to help myself and others and never to be abusive or offensive.
